Eric L. Asnis, MD, FACG

Bio: Dr. Asnis’ professional interests include diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, colon cancer screening/prevention, treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease and inflammatory bowel disease, and treatment of liver diseases.

Dr. Asnis joined Green Mountain Gastroenterology in 1994. He is a member of the American College of gastroenterology and was recently awarded the designation of Fellow of the American College of gastroenterology (FACG) in 2018. He is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA).

Dr. Asnis is an avid fly fisherman and spends much of his time in the outdoors including snowboarding, cycling, and gardening.

Special Interests: Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, colon cancer screening, dysphagia, and liver disease.

Bio: Dr. Everett joins Green Mountain Gastroenterology from the University of Vermont Medical Center, where he completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Everett first moved to New England for his undergraduate education at the University of New Hampshire. His clinical interests include Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, colon cancer screening, dysphagia, and liver disease. In his spare time, Dr. Everett enjoys hiking, cross-country skiing, and biking. He lives in Berlin with his wife and daughter.

Bio: Dr. Shen joins in Green Mountain Gastroenterology from the University of Vermont Medical Center, where she completed her fellowship and Gastroenterology and Hepatology. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Dr. Shen has since found a new love for the green mountains of Vermont. She is interested in inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, pancreaticobiliary disease, and colorectal cancer. When not working, Dr. Shen can be found at the service of her four cats, in the garden, or exploring new coffee shops and bakeries. She also enjoys hiking with her husband and his dog.
